FFP2 and FFP3 RESPIRATORY MASKS
Our FFP2 and FFP3 breathing masks are produced in a fully sanitized and certified environment (Cleanroom) and offer a high level of protection from particles, combined with wearing comfort and breathability.

In addition to being highly effective in protecting against droplet-transmissible infectious agents, GMD’s FFP2 and FFP3 breathing masks also prevent the inhalation of airborne infectious agents.

Healthcare professionals should wear a protective mask (respirator) of at least class FFP2 or FFP3 to obtain maximum filtration of particles and aerosols when in contact with patients infected or suspected of being infected with one of these viruses.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT | RESPIRATORY MASKS FFP2
GMD’s FFP2 breathing masks guarantee a minimum filtration of 94% and an inward leakage of 8% maximum. They can be used mainly in the pharmaceutical industry and in the hospital environment to protect healthcare professionals from influenza viruses, the new coronavirus (Covid-19) and associated respiratory diseases such as SARS, pneumonic plague and tuberculosis.

GMD has installed capacity for the production of this equipment in the following variants:
– FFP2 breathing masks, with ear elastics;
– FFP2 breathing masks, with elastics on the head;
– FFP2 breathing masks, with elastics for the ear and nasal protection sponge;
– FFP2 breathing masks, with elastics on the head and nasal protection sponge;

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT | RESPIRATORY MASKS FFP3

GMD’s FFP3 breathing masks guarantee a minimum filtration of 99% and leakage to the interior of a maximum of 2%; it is the most filtering of these respirators, capable of protecting the user from very small particles, such as asbestos, in addition to the protection recommended by the FFP2 respiratory masks.

GMD has installed capacity for the production of this equipment in the following variants:
– FFP3 breathing masks, with ear elastics;
– FFP3 breathing masks, with elastics on the head;
– FFP3 breathing masks, with elastics for the ear and nasal protection sponge;
– FFP3 breathing masks, with elastics on the head and nasal protection sponge.

We have a fully equipped laboratory, capable of guaranteeing the quality of the raw materials received, as well as the Personal Protection Equipment produced.

GMD – Global Medical Devices, Lda has internal laboratory capacity installed to carry out various controls (structural, resistance, quality, efficiency) throughout the production process, from receipt of raw materials to packaging, passing through the various stages of production.

Equipment that allows evaluating the tension of materials and their suitability for the PPE to be produced and/or produced;
GT-RA09A-1 Particulate Filtration Efficiency Tester
Equipment that allows the testing of raw materials upon arrival (guaranteeing their compliance with the technical sheets presented by the suppliers), as well as the Personal Protective Equipment produced. The effectiveness of Personal Protective Equipment with regard to particle filtration is essential to ensure the satisfaction and effective protection of the final consumer;
GT-RA03 Mask & Respirator Breathing Resistance Tester
This equipment allows for a continuous and systematic evaluation of the production, ensuring that the Personal Protection Equipment produced is within the required filtration parameters, but ensuring comfortable breathability for the final consumer;
GT-RA06 Mask Flame Retardant Tester
Equipment that allows testing the resistance of raw materials and Personal Protective Equipment to fire or other heat sources.
